Terms of Use & Community Rules (Metalliverse)

1. Access and Membership

The Metalliverse is an exclusive community.
Access is possible only with a valid invitation code, which has been obtained through a paid membership on metalunites.de or metalunites.com.

2. Payment Terms & Cancellation

Contract Term: Membership is entered into for a period of one year (12 months) at a time.

Automatic Renewal: The subscription automatically renews for another year unless automatic renewal is deactivated or terminated on the payment platform (metalunites.de or metalunites.com) prior to the expiration of the current term.

No Refunds: In the event of early cancellation or the voluntary deletion of an account, no pro-rata refund of the annual fee already paid will be issued.
The right to access the service expires upon the deletion of the account.

3. Account Deletion & Data

You have the right to delete your account via your profile settings at any time.
In accordance with the Friendica Privacy Policy, your personal data will be removed from this server upon deletion.
Please note that posts which have already been federated into the global Fediverse (to other servers) may lie beyond our direct control.

4. Rules of Conduct (Code of Conduct)

We are an international community founded on respect, a passion for music, and solidarity.
To ensure this remains the case, we draw a clear red line.
Anyone who crosses this line will be expelled—without discussion and without a refund of their membership fee.

– Zero Tolerance for Hate & Incitement
Racism, sexism, homophobia, or any form of discrimination have absolutely no place in the Metalliverse—nor do insults or threats.
Metal is diversity. Anyone who spreads hate speech will be immediately removed from the Metalliverse. – Hostility to the Constitution & Extremism
We do not tolerate any symbols, texts, or propaganda that are hostile to the constitution or that glorify extremist ideologies. The Metalliverse is intended for the exchange of ideas regarding music and culture, not as a platform for political radicalization.
Furthermore, we are bound by the law.

– Consequences & Identifiability
As a closed, paid-access network, anonymity does not serve as a shield against criminal acts.
• Immediate Ban:
In the event of violations of these rules, the account will be permanently suspended.
• Criminal Prosecution: In cases involving criminally relevant content (e.g., incitement to hatred, threats), we reserve the right to transmit the payment data and identity details provided during the registration process to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.
• Civil Liability: We will initiate legal proceedings should your conduct cause harm to the network or its operators.

5. Restricted Features

Certain features within the platform are reserved for administrators.
If you receive an „Access Denied“ message or are unable to view content when clicking on a link, this indicates a protected feature (e.g., inviting new members outside of the official payment system). This does not constitute a system error.
